The Tower is currently open with August hours, closing at 17:30. Opening time is 09:00 Every day. During the current summer peak season queues are longest at opening, so arrive after 11am or in the afternoon and head straight to the Crown Jewels, then explore the walls and towers as the day goes on. If you are planning a morning visit, compare current ticket prices and entry options before you book. After the Tower closes to day visitors, the gates are locked at 9:52pm in the Ceremony of the Keys, a separate evening event with its own £10 tickets.
