    Winter hours (until 29 February)

During winter, the Tower opens at 09:00 Tuesday–Saturday and 10:00 on Sundays and Mondays. Last entry is at 15:00, with the Tower closing at 16:30. Plan to arrive early to see the Crown Jewels without the midday crowds.

    February school-holiday exceptions

On three dates during the February half-term break—Sunday 15, Monday 16, and Sunday 22 February—the Tower opens at 09:00 instead of the usual 10:00. This gives families an extra hour to explore before the day gets busy.

From 1 March: longer spring hours

Starting 1 March, the Tower stays open an hour longer, closing at 17:30. This extra time is perfect for walking the medieval walls at sunset or taking a second look at the Crown Jewels once the afternoon crowds thin out.
